Hello dearies! Who here is taking glutathione supplements? I'm sure you already have your favorite brand/s if you're into whitening since time immemorial. For those who still can't find their forever with glutathione, I have great news for you! Have you heard of Opulence Skin? This brand is being distributed by GNS Beauty in the market for quite some time now but I guess only a few have heard or seen it.

They sent bottles of Opulence Nutrawhite L-Glutathione for me to try but of course, I will only try one bottle to be fair to all the glutathione brands that I've reviewed before. I'll be giving away some bottles so stay tuned for that :) Anyhoo, this glutathione brand is promising based on the ingredients or the boosters inside each capsule. So without further ado, my honest to goodness review of Opulence glutathione below.

To those who still have no idea what glutathione can do to our body beyond the whitening effect that it promises, sharing with you brief information that I've taken from Opulence Skin official website. The real main purpose of glutathione is to detoxify the liver and the wonderful side effect is the whitening of the skin which may Filipinas nowadays want to achieve.

Glutathione is known as the master antioxidant that will not only help achieve lighter and younger looking skin but also boost our immune system, helps us fight infections, and may aid in cancer prevention.

Each capsule of Opulence Skin Nutrawhite Glutathione contains:

1. L-Glutathione (GSH) 500mg- occurs naturally in all human cells. GSH is a cofactor for dozens of enzymes involved in detoxification. As an antioxidant, it directly quenches several reactive oxygen species (free radicals). Numerous structures and functions in the body receive benefit from maintaining normal levels of glutathione, such as hepatic support, pulmonary health, immune function, bowel health, carbohydrate metabolism, cardiovascular health, cognitive health and eye health.

2. Vitamin C 100mg- raises Glutathione by helping the body manufacture it.

3. N-Acetylcysteine (NAC) 150mg- replenishes the body's glutathione levels by providing the rate-limiting substrate (cysteine) for glutathione synthesis.

4. Vitamin E 100IU- recycles Glutathione and depend on it for proper function and recycling as well.

5. Alpha Lipoic Acid (ALA) 50mg- neutralizes several toxins including heavy metals lead and cadmium. It acts as a co-enzyme for recycling other antioxidants including Glutathione, Vitamin C, and E.

6. Selenomethionine 200mcg- an important trace mineral and a constituent of the antioxidant enzyme glutathione peroxidase, which is necessary for neutralizing the free radical, hydrogen peroxide, as well as as other lipid peroxides. (oxidized fats)

instruction for use:  Adults (18 and above) take one capsule, once or twice daily after meal or as prescribed by the physician. You can take an additional vitamin C if you opt to.

What I like:

  • The price- it's affordable. And even more affordable because they have their BER MONTHS SUPER SALE :)
  • Opulence Nutrawhite L-Glutathione + boosters is available in two bottle sizes- 60 and 30 capsules.
  • This glutathione supplement contains ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid), N-Acetylcysteine, and Selenomethione is known as potent boosters to speed up the whitening process of the skin.
  • I did not experience any discomfort like vomiting, headache, nausea, breakouts, or whatsoever while taking the supplement even though it has ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) and NAC (N-Acetylcysteine).
  • My skin glows the next day even if I only have 4 hours of sleep every night.
  • No pimples and cystic acne during my menstrual period.
  • There's a slight change in the color of my freckles but not that drastic.
  • After finishing 1 bottle, I can say that marks from unwanted scratch and mosquito bites have lightened a bit. This is one of the ways where I gauge the effectiveness of glutathione in giving that whitening side effect/s.
  • It made my skin tone even. I took this last month and it also helped me maintain my skin tone even if I'm exposed to extreme heat in the afternoon because I fetch my son at school around 12 noon.
  • I'm already fair to begin with and it gives me an almost translucent white color of my skin. I can't say that I'm a shade lighter now because I still use the same shade of foundation but some of those who have not seen me for quiet some time said that I got lighter.
  • Batch, manufacturing and expiry date printed on the package.
  • This brand is USA FDA approved.

What I don't like:

  • Not easily accessible, you have to purchase it online.
  • There are individuals who are allergic to ALA (Alpha Lipoic Acid) and NAC (N-Acetylcysteine)

Will I purchase? It's in the realm of possibility.

Recommendation:

I give this a 4.5/5 rating. I can say that I'm satisfied with the results after one month of taking Opulence Nutrawhite Glutathione. It's USA FDA approved too so no second thoughts while taking the supplement. I also like that it's packed with essential glutathione boosters that are known to speed up the absorption of glutathione in the body.

     ALA, NAC, and Selenomethione are potent boosters of glutathione, these are the boosters that one should look for when taking glutathione BUT there are individuals who are allergic to it so I'm giving you a pre-caution on that part. If you have taken another brand of glutathione before that contains one of those mentioned above, I can say you're safe to take this. If your previous brand of glutathione gave you sore throat and other unknown allergies, it only means you're allergic to ALA or NAC.
